CECI is proud to announce we will be participating in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge for the 10th consecutive year! Once again this year the event will be held virtually, either on June 12th or 13th, in a park near you!
Join our winning team! Last year CECI won first prize among the participating organizations, mobilizing 70 runners and walkers who raised over $70,000 in support of our mission of fighting against poverty, exclusion and inequality. OPEN TO EVERYONE
The Charity Challenge is for everyone. Whether you are young or old, a seasoned runner or only active on weekends, this event is for you. You can choose the run distance that you are most comfortable with, and even walk if you prefer!
PARTICIPATING IN THE CHARITY CHALLENGE ALSO SUPPORTS A GOOD CAUSE!
The participants can sign up for one of the following teams:
Team Benin: for the advancement of women entrepreneurs in Benin (in support of the project PAEFFR)
Team Haïti: to support women and youth cocoa producers in the South of Haïti (in support of the project AVETI)
Team African Great Lakes: For the education of girls and young women (in support of the project EDUFAM)
Team International Solidarity: for the economic empowerment of women and climate change resilience
The funds raised will be attributed to the project you choose.
And don’t worry! We are here to help you with your fundraising every step of the way. You will be amazed at what you are capable of accomplishing!
