CECI's international network meets in Montreal

News | Published at: October 07 2022

From September 8 to 16, 2022, CECI's international network met in Montreal for a week of strategic reflection. Several representatives from the 10 countries where CECI is active took part in these meetings as part of the Voluntary Cooperation Program after two years of the pandemic.

Coming from Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Mali, Nepal, Senegal and Rwanda, the colleagues deepened their common reflections to consolidate our identity, our vision for the future and to advance gender equality in the world.

The teams took advantage of this opportunity to discuss various strategic orientations, to attend conferences, to share their experiences and to plan various activities and actions that will enable CECI's international network to better position itself on the international scene.

We feel very fortunate to have such a dedicated team committed to advancing gender issues through international development. These meetings have been extremely important for the smooth running of our operations and, by all accounts, have been very enriching, edifying and mobilizing for all the teams.

It is therefore with a head full of ideas that all our teams are leaving for the four corners of the world.

The volunteer cooperation program is implemented by CECI, in partnership with the Government of Canada.
